Emotions and Autobiographical Memory
In a series of studies we are investigating the role of emotions in encoding and recalling events. Emotions are argued to enhance memory for events whereas traumatic events are sometimes repressed. Many well-remembered events are found to be not emotional events
Self and Autobiographical Memory
Our ideas of self may be derived from remembered actions in past events. However, our concept of self may influence which memories we remember.
Oku Düşün Yap / Düşünebilen Çocuklar
A training program designed to improve cognitive skills of children aged 11-13. It is currently being implemented by Turkish Educational Volunteers Foundation all over Turkey.

Turkish adaptation of the benchmark measure for five factor model of personality was completed in 2002 and the successful adaptation is currently used in many research projects as well as in applied settings such as human resources functions.
