2nd Ankara-Istanbul Workshop on Stochastic Processes

The 2nd Ankara-Istanbul Workshop on Stochastic Processes (0634SP2015) will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, 18-19 June 2015.

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together mathematicians in Turkey who work on stochastic processes and their applications as well as graduate students entering this exciting area. Our aim is to create a stimulating atmosphere where researchers can meet and hear about each other’s work, hold discussions, share ideas and hopefully initiate future collaborations.

Topics include (tentative):

– Bayesian and hidden Markov models
– Diffusion and jump-diffusion models in finance
– Levy and renewal processes
– Malliavin calculus and its applications to finance
– Probabilistic approach to operator theory
– Processes in random media
– Random walks on graphs
– Stochastic flows

If you would like to participate in the workshop, with or without submitting a poster, please click here. Graduate students are especially encouraged to apply. There is no registration fee.

Important dates:
