What is compressor where we use?

Compressor is a mechanical device that compresses gasses. An air compressor is a device that converts power into kinetic energy by compressing and pressurizing air. Positive-displacement air compressors work by forcing air into a chamber whose volume is reduced to compress the air. Piston-type air compressors use this principle by pumping air into an air chamber through the use of the constant motion of pistons. They use unidirectional valves to guide air into a chamber, where the air is compressed.

Compressors are devices that are widely used at different places in the industry. Such as, refrigerator systems, cooling systems, air conditioners, carsect

Mechanism:

In our project, the motion is created by the magnetic force due to the coil. The coil wrapped 1500 turn with copper wire, also we add magnet for N-S polarization than this combination provides electromagnetic induction. According to right-hand rule electromagnetic system moves to x-positive right direction. Then, using a spring the system can move back to its initial position. We also use a switch for stopping the motion in one direction and then turn it back, when shaft pushes the switch, the electromagnetic induction will stop and there is only one force left which is due to the spring, so the shaft will come back. This motion is created by converting power from electromagnetic energy into kinetic energy. Then, this energy forwarded to compressor for sucking-pumping action.

We made two different prototypes. First one is simpler. In first prototype, we create a compressor by using diaphragm. These types of compressors are generally used for liquid pumping. There is more efficiency while pumping and sucking liquid to create energy in diaphragm. However, air compressors are more efficient than diaphragm compressor. Moreover, in first prototype we used 12 volt power supplier because of this the performance of the system is less than our second prototype. In second prototype, basically the working principle is almost the same, but only difference is compressor part. We used an air compressor for the second prototype. Also, we changed our power supplier to 220 volt DC. So, the efficiency of the system is increased and we can observe that system can compress air more.
