      • The first implantable artificial heart pump of Turkey (Istanbul Heart Ventricular Assist Device and Support System, “iHeart VAD”) received the Best Medical Industry R&D and Innovation Award of 2018 from Doktorclub-Medical Awards of Turkey.
      • Turkey’s first indigenous artificial heart pump (LVAD) and cardiac support system was successfully implemented and tested on animals on November 17, 2017.
