Power window mechanism is used in the purpose of lifting window glass in the cars. There are two main types as Scissor Lift System (figure-1) and Cable Lift System. In this report the Scissor Lift System will be analyzed.

Scissor Lift System consists of two gears that one of them is on motor drive and the other one is connected to main arm. The system transforms rotational motion into linear motion using slider crank mechanism.

Dynamics of main points of the system is analyzed in terms of velocity and acceleration in theory. Same mechanism is designed on CAD program and manufactured. Fınally some experimental data collected via variable rotational speed of the motor and compared with theoretical results.
