Four-bar linkages are most frequently used to convert a uniform continuous rotation into a non-uniform rotation or oscillation. A four bar is the simplest movable closed chain linkage. It consists of four bodies, called bars or links, connected in a loop by four joints. Generally, the joints are configured so the links move in parallel planes, and the assembly is called a four-bar linkage. Four-bar mechanism is used intensively in mechanical design. Four-bar linkages are important mechanisms found in machines. The kinematics and dynamics of planar four-bar linkages are important topics in mechanical engineering.

Our mechanism is settable and we can change the motion of mechanism by reordering the length of the links by screws. For this reason, our aim is to get 5 different motions. Those motions are related to crank and rocker. We easily see that we catch the motion of four bar mechanism in sector of mechanical engineering by using our simple mechanism.

Before explaining the manufacturing process, we designed the mechanism in N.X and Matlab. There was one way to get 5 different motion and prepared a simple motion in Matlab. Our project was made of three cylinder and one plane for table, four roller, two shafts, four roller cage, four links, motor cage, and motor. All materials are staninless steel. links and tables were cut by laser cutting. Every assembly on table’s stuffs were done by using screw and the other planes for establishing table were done by using tungsten inert-gas welding.
