Our project is sliding door. It is a kind of a door mechanism that can be useful if there is not enough space to open the door towards in or out. Also, thanks to this system, doors take up less space after opening. There are many kinds of designs of sliding doors and they can be used in many different areas. There are two DC motors that placed in corners to move the mechanism. Two pulleys are attached to the DC motors. Pulleys and sliders are connected with two black neoprene cable. Sliders are connected with a red plastic rode to move together. Also, doors are connected to sliders and rod. While opening and closing, DC motors will turn the opposite direction thus one of them release the cable and the other motor will wind the cable around the pulley. Then the doors will open and close.
