I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at Koç University. My research interests include privacy, security, data analytics and mining, adversarial machine learning, Internet of Things, and the intersection of artificial intelligence with security and privacy.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, my M.S. in Computer Science from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), my B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University, and my high school degree from Robert College, Istanbul, Turkey.

For graduate students: I have multiple fully-funded positions (with scholarship) available for graduate students (both MS and PhD, PhD preferred). If you are interested, please send me an e-mail with your CV and transcript.

For undergraduate students: I am happy to work with talented and motivated undergraduate students. If you are interested in joining our research group, send me an e-mail with your CV and transcript to learn about our current projects. Be prepared to actually do research — many of our undergrads contribute directly to ongoing projects and co-author academic publications!
