Koç University Outstanding Teaching Award, Koç University 2016
Outstanding Teaching Award, College of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Koç University

Koç University started granting teaching awards in 2012. Dr. Yılmaz is the first recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Award from the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics. In 2016, she received the highest teaching award in her institution granted to only one professor with the best teaching performance in the entire university.

Conducted seminars and trainings for all levels of managers, including C-Level managers, regarding Global Political Trends, Political and Economic Outlook after the Covid-19 Pandemic, Global and Regional Energy Dynamics, and Foreign Policy for Global Leaders for leading companies and programs, including Arçelik Global Manager, Indian Oil Corporation, Unilever, Allianz, Tekfen, Anadolu Sigorta, OYAK Maden Metalurji, Vestel Anadolu Efes and Zorlu Group.

Serves as a member of KOLT Advisory Board representing CASE; Assurance of Learning and Quality Assurance Committee Director, CASE, (2017-present). Leads the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics (CASE) and Graduate School of Business (GSB) efforts for the enhancement of Assurance of Learning and Quality Assurance, as well as AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUİS (The European Quality Improvement System) accreditation processes related to the assessment and constant improvement of undergraduate learning.
