Birgul Arslan teaches Business Strategy and International Strategy at undergraduate and graduate levels.
She applies team-based learning principles in her courses. She designs exercises for student teams which helps them discover the learning points and apply them to recent cases in the media.
She is also keen on applying emerging educational technologies including online learning management sytems (Moodle, Blackboard), clickers, and Panopto video recording. She also uses business simulations to teach about strategy and innovation challenges.
Birgul Arslan has participated in the Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning at Harvard University. She has received Koc University Teaching Innovation Grant in 2015 and 2016.
